As an accredited International Baccalaureate (IB) institution, Noblesse International School proudly offers the IB Middle Years Programme (MYP) for students in Grades 6–10. This curriculum spans both our Middle School and the initial two years of High School, providing a globally recognized educational framework. The IB Middle Years Programme (MYP) is a five-year, challenging curriculum for Grades 6 to 10 that encourages students to connect their learning to the real world. It fosters global citizenship, cultural awareness, and essential skills like communication and intercultural understanding.

General Course Overview:

Throughout grades 6 to 10, the MYP Design curriculum introduces and progressively develops students’ understanding of the MYP Design Cycle. The focus is on computer-generated creative concepts such as video production, audio creation, 2D and 3D product design, and programming. Students work both individually and in groups to explore the creative process, with increasing complexity as they advance through the grades.

The Mandarin Language Acquisition program is designed to introduce and progressively develop students’ skills in learning and using Mandarin Chinese. It is suitable for students with no, little, or some previous experience with the language. Lessons are taught in a communicative and interactive way, with a focus on real-world usage and cultural understanding.

This course teaches and reinforces research skills needed for IB DP and university level classes. Students will learn how to research, format and structure both short and long form academic papers.

Course Description:

Chemistry is the study of the properties of matter, atoms and molecules. The course provides a foundation for advanced courses in Science, but also serves as the sciences core requirement. Students will study key science terminology, experimental methodology, and major concepts in the field of Chemistry. This course will also provide the opportunity for students to apply the scientific method to conduct independent research in the laboratory room.

Course Description:

This course provides the basic knowledge in fundamental areas of Physics: motion, energy, waves and electricity. The goals of this course are to develop a better understanding of the basic concepts in Physics and to help the students apply these concepts and relate them to each other; to help the students realize the role of Physics in their daily life and instill an appreciation for science to know and understand the natural world.

Course Description:

This course emphasizes important biological concepts and principles. It involves learning the origins and history of life and once-living things, the structure of living things, how they interact with one another and how living things function. This will help them understand not only the concepts and topics in Biology, but more importantly, have a deeper understanding of how vital the role of humans in preserving the natural environment and sustaining life on Earth is.
